The weather this week has been SO nice! We've made it into town several times to play at the parks and have played in the yard quite a little. AJ got some new wheels this last weekend while the girls and I were in Lincoln for a fun shopping trip (or spree). She made out with a "big girl bike" bright pink with training wheels. I'll post pictures soon. Her trike just doesn't cut it anymore, her legs are too long! The weather was so beautiful on Saturday, I decided to stop at a fun bike shop before we headed home. Found the perfect one! It takes a little more effort for her to peddle, and too much speed scares her a bit, but she'll have it down in no time.
The pictures of Audrey Anna are from this afternoon. She's all over the place. We have a little doll stroller that belonged to Addison, that AA now enjoyes pushing it all over the living room. It's so strange to see our little baby walking, even if she has assentance. She can balence quite well standing on her own before she plops down on her bottom. It will be too soon before she's off and running. She will be eight months old next week (sigh).
For being almost eight months old already, I was hoping to have her nursery completed by now. It is close, but I have a few more sewing/decorating projects to finsih up before I'm happy. I have been working on it and hope to share some pictures of that project also. Soon.
Funny story about AJ before I wrap up this blog post. At home I'm doing the best that I can at providing our family with better food, less meat, clean, less or no processing, natural, and organic. It's a work in progress, but we do fairly well. There are many times when these choices arn't an option and it's okay, but there are a few things I would prefer we try to stick to and milk is one of them. I have come to believe milk is not the extreamly beneficial and would cut it out completely if it weren't for the fact AJ lives on the stuff. It is my fault for giving it to her in the beginning, and then later changing my views, but anyhoo. We have cut back and I have talked with her about if she is going to drink milk, organic is what I want her to have. Most of the produce I buy is organic and is very flavorful, especially the apples. Apperently she made a comment to Grandma H that she only eats organic apples and milk. Okay, the funny part, last night while playing in the bath she told Daddy she was bathing in "organic" water.
