How Quickly the Months Go By...

Our sweet little baby is 3.5 months already! Oh how I wish this were not so. Time goes by much too quickly. Even though time is going too fast, we are still enjoying every moment with our girls! Audrey Anna is the sweetest little baby there ever was! She's mellow and easy going, loves to sleep at night and has not once kept her momma up all night (knock on wood!). She is smiley and giggly, lights up at the sight of her big sister. We are blessed!

1 Month Old Already!

Oh, how the last month has flown by! It seemed as if my pregnancy was never going to end, time drug on so slowly, and then she was born and it seems time is getting away from me. I don't want this time to go by to quickly, I want to enjoy every moment of my precious little girl. She is a content little girl, never fusses for long and is quite happy all the time. We have our moments, but they are nothing to complain about. Big Sis Addison has been an excellent helper, and so far the newness of "her" baby has not worn off. She is in love with her Audrey Anna. "Where is my baby," "did my baby have and good night sleep?" "can I hold my baby?" she asks. Earlier in the week we were able to run down to Kansas with my Mom to introduce her to my Grandmas. We had a fun trip and both girls traveled well.

Our New Baby is Here!

And she is absolutely beautiful!

7lb 15oz & 20" long

We are in love with our new little girl! I started having mild back labor Wednesday morning around 7 am. I gave Adam a call, to make sure he had his phone on him all day, because this could be it. I called him back in a few hours to have him come on home, so he could clean up and head to the hospital. Grandma Hoagland came to hang out with AJ and we headed to the hospital around 12:30. I was dilated to 4cm when we arrived. We walked the hall for a little while to keep things moving along. Around 3:30 pm they broke my water. Up until that point my labor had been fairly tolerable, but as soon as my water broke things started moving along. Adam was excellent support getting through the intense and constant contractions (drug free). At about 4:40, this little girl decided she was ready right then! My Dr. did not make it in time, and at 4:43 our wonderful nurse delivered our little miracle! She is absolutely perfect. Big sister Addison was the first to meet Audrey Anna, what a special moment for our family. Then Addison got to announce to our family in the waiting room (Grandpa and Grandma Hoagland, Grandpa and Grandma Schneider, and Aunt Alana) our news. "I have a new, baby, SISTER!" it was so sweet!

We had a nice stay in the hospital and came home Friday afternoon. Everyone is adjusting well. At this point Audrey Anna is the most content little baby I have ever seen! She sleeps and nurses great, and the small time she is awake she very contentedly watches the world around her. Big Sis AJ has been a huge helper, and loves "her baby," always asking, "how is my baby," "where is my baby," "can I hold my baby?" How blessed we feel, two little girls, precious gifts from God!

Omaha Zoo

Yesterday we headed to Omaha for a little get away, one of the last ones we'll have as a family a 3. Not that we arn't going to do anything else fun before baby comes, it's just these last weeks are flying by. I am so glad that we were able to make time and take AJ to the Zoo. She had a fabulous time! We all had a great time. The weather was perfect, not too hot for this pregnant Momma walking around all day. AJ was on her best behavior even without a nap, and wore her big girl panties all day with NO accidents! We are so proud of her! She did crash on our way out of the zoo. After a nap we had time for a little shopping. AJ got to ride the ferris wheel at Scheels with Daddy, twice! She loved it. While Daddy and AJ shopped together, Momma got in a little shopping of her own, discovered a few fun shops in Omaha I will have to visit again! We ended the evening with a yummy supper at Lone Star Steakhouse. Truly wonderful family memories, at least for Momma and Daddy, AJ probably won't remember much. Hard to believe she turns 3 next week! What an amazing 3 years it has been, she has changed our lives for the better, each new stage has been an adventure and we can't wait to see what God has in store up ahead. I'm extremely happy we will have a new baby soon, but so thankful for the time we've had as a family of 3.

Love you Addison Joyce!

Lincoln's Children's Museum

Yesterday was our first trip the the Lincoln Children's Museum. Miss Addison had a fabulous time! We had hoped Daddy would be able to join us, but it didn't work out so we brought the next best thing, Grandma! Every time I ask her what her favorite part of the museum was she says something different, the hot air balloon, the boats, and the firetruck. She spent a lot of time in the semi truck, but I think loved everything equally. It has changed so much since Vance and I used to visit the old Children's Museum. We will have to make it back with Daddy, I think he would have a good time!
